F150 decals

Does anyone know how to remove the F150 decals on the side of the truck? Are they double sided tape ? When I am doing my detail I was planning on removing them because one has lost its colour already anyway. Just want to make sure that after I have it off that there is not a hole behind it like the one on the back.

Thanks

yes, 2 holes will be left over...

Best bet is to take a blowdryer/heat gun and some dental floss...heat it up, slide the dental floss between the badge and the truck.

Then use 3M adhesive remover to get the glue off and then make sure to wax after the 3M is applied

The fender badges have pins, the bed side decals do not.

Dental floss breaks kinda easy, If you have some 20lb fishing line it works good!

i was planing on doing this until i found that they left holes in the fender.
what im trying to do now is find older f150 badges (1990-era) it's in a different font and it's metal instead of plastic. they'll look neat and cover the holes. at least till i have enough money to shave the handles, then i'll shave those at the same time.

just my 2 cents
