You don't want to use the stock chrome housing, the glare is way too much from on coming traffic. You'll get flash more than a drunk at mardi gras.

I've got the 6k kit from ebay that a bunch of us jumped on about a year ago. Pretty nice but I would like to get a better cut off. I have the Hella housing but still a bit too much dispersion.

Oh I had a silverstar pop on me as well, I had it maybe 5 days. I know how to install these bulbs and not to touch them since oil and grime on your hands can make them explode. So I went back to Autozone and told them the bulb exploded and the idiot started to argue with me that I had touched the bulb. I left went to another autozone about 5 miles away walked in and out with a new bulb in 5 minutes.

I decided to get projectors because of the light glare and height of my truck. I have 6000k hid in mine and love them. I just installed them yesterday, and so far so good. I am going to order the fogs as soon as I have time. LOL. They need to match. I will need to find a way to aim my fogs down.

FX$life that is the exact kit i have. Aim them down, and you wont have problems. I have never been flashed with the low beam on to this day, and ive had them on for almost 6 months. (i also drive 90% interstate).

Yeah, but if you drop them as low as they go. Then you lose a lot of the light. I have mine in projectors so I can have them projected far out, without blinding peoples. My fogs are a different story though...
