15" lift on 40's

Anyone picked up the new Truckin' magazine? On the front cover is an F150 .... with a 12" bulletproof lift, 3" body lift, atlas leaf springs, 40" toyo, 22" kmc badlands, fox coilovers. pretty sweeeet.

I just read that like half an hour ago. lol Nice looking truck, goofy mudflaps though. They had a real nice lifted F150 in there awhile back. It was black with Silver flames, I think it had 40's on it too.

can the front axle on these trucks even handle a 37" or bigger tire reliably? I know the old Dana 44's TTB setup(1988-1996) were only good for about 35" tires before you started breaking stuff...just wondering if that translated to the IFS system we have today?

pretty show truck...utterly worthless though IMO.

yeah, and the article following that was 'how to build a cover truck'.

you can't just go out and buy a cover truck...

A little too big for my tastes, though I can appreciate the time and money spent on the truck.
