Send Monkey-1 a PM on here, he can hook you up and there's a few of us on here that can attest to the ease of installation and instructions he provides.

I too have/had a power nothing STX and he included everything I needed to get me going.

Thanks Budha!

Bulldogbud, I just emailed you. As for the switch, you can add an external switch if you like, but you can always use the remote to lock and unlock the doors.

No, I didn't (want to) add extra lock/unlock buttons....I just use the remote. I also went with LT door handles to eliminate the key holes in the doors and used the driver's rear door handle from a supercrew so I didn't have to mess with the keypad either.

NP stud monkey.

yeah isnt our keylocks easy to pop anyway? i ought to look into that too cuz then they could just pop my keylock too instead of breaking the window

It's all color coded wiring and color coded T-Taps with color pics in the instructions to help you out. He supplies T-Taps and prewires the male spades to make it even easier.

I will get you the full spec on them tomorrow, I am about to call it a day. It is really not as intimidating as you may think.

I have an 06 STX with the white terminal block. How do you suggest getting around the block with the wiring? I've seen the posts where the guys have drilled it out but the more I look at it, I think a new boot lower in the door would be better.

Thanks.

Those arent fun either way you decide to go. If you can get in the door jamb to drill a couple of more holes (one in the door and one in the jamb itself) thats another option you can try. You can get the small rubber boots to cover the wires to make it look factory. Really after you get the block apart, you can dremel or drill out the open area fairly easily. If you need the boots, let me know.

I've looked at the block and you can easily see the open slots. I just really don't want to smuck up the block and have to go salvage yard diving for one.

I have access to a right angle drill so that's why I was thinking about just doing another boot and then I could run my door lock and possible power window wires through that.

Which way would you go?

I may be interested in what you have to offer. I don't need an alarm, just the power door locks, no switches either.

You have mail....

I understand your hesitance, but other than it being a bit snug its not too difficult. If you feel more comfortable drilling an extra set of holes, the boots are pretty cheap. Just make sure before drilling you know what is behind where your hole will be.

As a side note, anytime I have to run wires through a boot I always run an extra 'pull wire" so that the next time I have to go in that door its easy to add more wires. It never fails people start out wanting JUST power windows and then in no time, they decide they would like power door locks. A little scrap piece of wire will make the second (or third) trip through the boot ALOT easier and quicker.
