ever since i put in my hd heads i have wanted to do something with the fogs. but i want to keep the light output the same. so besidesthe glowing part i do like these.

ewwww no, my friend bought a set for his 03 Silverado just like those, they were cheap, and looked really out of place. Dont do it

How about some smoked plexiglass over them? It would smoke them out and protect those expensive lenses from stones.

yes all of it..all i did was tape of the groove where the sealant goes so it wouldn't affect the adhering of the rtv sealant when i was putting them back together...

Looks good King.
I put 2 light coats of nightshades on mine and it doesn't look too bad. And they are NOT green, they have a yellow/brown tint to them and barely altered the brightness of the lamps. Of course the only pic I have is in my sig....

thanks myren...that looks good...but since i have a black truck and noone else has painted the fogs i figured y not...im going out right now to start my headlights and i ordered my bixenon hids last night so ill post pics when i get each item done...

How do they Halogen's in the KC's perform with the HID's on? I would love the HID's but I'm not soo sure if the KC's would almost become non existent.

idk i haven't tried them yet...since my headlights are out of the truck im not driving it tonight but ill take all the nighttime light shots in a few days when i get the headlights back in

def looks kill ,trying do mine today but i cant get the damm lenses off ,i think they are sealed in place,any thoughts?

i was doing so some searching and came across this thread with the whole foglight housing being painted. Any, who i was just curious if the headlights could be done like this, im talkin the whole thing , not just Harley headlights i kno the light output would be reduced, just curious , i have hids as well and from lookin at those pics, it doesnt look to bad.

I believe KingoftheRanch also did a thread on his headlights.

yes, it can be done. light output isn't really reduced either

well im doing my headlights flat black tmrw and i was wondering if the round fogs would be a waste of time to paint too..?
