As for the 97-03 ones looking Ricerish, well your entitled to your opinion but, not even close.

Here is a picture of them installed on my truck.

And then this is a side view and they blend right in on the dark colored truck.

Send them an email asking because i know a few other guys with the Flaresides that also sent them emails so if they get enough inquires they may make them.

Hey Rich, whats with the P71 badging? I highly doubt your truck is set up for some intercepting...

I thought its a sweet idea but its just dosent seem to fit your truck very well. The gas cover threw me off!

That badge is no longer on the truck that was prior to lift and paint. And my truck can in fact intercept things. That picture is of the front fender. I did have some fun with them though. You would be amazed at how stupid people are.

Will the LED tails make the signal blink fast?

Its the result of a low amp draw when the turn signal is applied and some LEDs do cause this problem. But yes bulb burned out draws no current so it has the same effect. I can only hope that Hella built in a resistor to keep this from happening. Some Hella owners chime in?

The Hella tails have a load resistor included. It is an outboard unit that is sealed and hangs on the sheet metal behind the tail lamp.

With the Hella or Recon LED tails, do you have to splice and rewire to get them to work like you have to do for the Recon third brake light or are they plug and play?

That's weird, because when I got my Recon third break light I had to splice into the original wiring to make the light work right. When I think of plug and play I think that you unplug your stock lights and plug in the new lights without doing anything else.....did I maybe get jipped on my recon light?
