I agree, these are awesome tail lights. I just put them on last night. The only thing I would change is to have a larger parking light, but I'm getting used to it.

As others have said, save some money and buy on Amazon.com.

Do you have a link for the pics of them? I just searched and found the 97-03 LED RECON tails, and I have to say they appear a little ricerish on the bottom half. And where the RECONs are at 3 bills, the Hellas crush that competition.

I wish I had waited on the Hella's. Bought them when they first came out, just over 3 bills.

No picture of the 04+ RECON lights as they have not been released yet.

As for the 97-03 ones looking Ricerish, well your entitled to your opinion but, not even close.

Here is a picture of them installed on my truck.

And then this is a side view and they blend right in on the dark colored truck.

Hey Richard, those do look pretty good on your truck. The picture I saw on a site showed the Recon light, the top half looked similar to a Hella, but the bottom half was almost like a cleared lense. Yours seems almost smoked, the side view pic anyhow. The rearview still looks a litle clear to me, but they look cool. I'm just not fond of the clear tails as just about every civic, integra, accord has them as a "mod" aka rice. I'm a fan of either classic red tails, or smoked. But i'm glad you like them. Your truck looks sick man

I think I'm just gonna go with the Hellas. save a hundred bucks, and personally, the look is perfect for me.

Hahah mine are the smoked version. They have three versions of them. So i do understand what you mean but i would consider the Euro looking tails more on the Ricer Side. And none of the RECONS would fall into that category in my opinion.
