Update

well, i've held out long enough i think. here's some pics from today. the cheap plastic inner fenders are long gone, and the new ones are smoothed in. the front spindles are all set, along with the new shocks and limit chains. i pulled the rug out of the bed and finished all the sheet metalwork, even added some ribs so once its line-xed, it'll simulate a real bed.

Limit chains? I am wondering if those are going to make annoying clanking sounds. I hate the stock fender liners, PITA to get back in. However looks awesome! Share some more pics!

i don't know, i don't really think the 3 links will make that big a noise. especially with the engine noise right there.

Wow, well done Dribone. That's going to look awesome when it's painted. Truly custom indeed.

i got myself into more than i expected with the tail lights alone. i was thinking about that lower body line, but it follows the gap in the tailgate as well as the lower front valance, so i'm gonna leave it. as it is i dissolved the crease in the tailgate and around the corners.
