sorry J it took about 40 hours to alter it. there was plenty of opportunites to photo it. laziness i guess. i didn't expect it to respond like this.

i have cracked the HP and rpm barrier that these intakes pose in stock form.

It's getting better and better, keep at it.

I'm pushing 302 rwhp and 318 rwtq with my 4.6 3V, C&L intake with 88mm maf tube, muffler delete, 93 octane tune, UDPs, and CMDPs. I only gained 12 rwhp from the UDPs and CMDPs, I was expecting around 16 rwhp. I'm leaning towards just throwing a nitrous kit with all of the goodies on there to stop myself from going F/I.

Just pull everything off to get the intake manifold off; fuel rails, injectors, etc. The CMPs will be on the bottom of the intake manifold. Unbolt them, remove the butterflies inside the ports, silicone, etc the holes shut. Remove the motor. You'll need a custom tune though. I'm lucky they make them for my car for only $130. Not to mention I was able to get them for free from someone who didn't need them.

pull the heads, get minor machine work and cleanup done , add CC cams and 350+ rwhp is there. get the valves unshrouded. and milled to get compression back. for head gaskets, bolts, and machine work with cam 350+ is there. much less than a blower and faster. go to modular fords. com a loof up musiccitygt. he just added CC cams and RWTD tune for 345 rwhp/332 rwtq. he has all of the bolt-ons.

my number are low. the car nosed over when it hit the limiter 2-3 then re-accelerated. there is .1 - .2 just in shift points. and a couple of MPH. so really its more in the 280 -285 rwhp range.
