but hey, on the bright side, all that extra clearance is room for the axle to articulate when offroad

Just a thought that I just had. Try putting 500-1000 lbs in the back of the truck for the next couple of days, just to see if the extra weight will help settle the springs alittle more or alittle faster.

You read my mind, we've got some cinderblocks laying around....I figure, like you said, im still going to need a smaller block to level it out.

It doesn't look that bad, I don't think. The worst part of your story was that you had to work on Saturday!

I think it looks fine, but I'd lose those bump stops, you're never going to need them.

I went and got 30 Cinder blocks, and put 20 of them in the bed and it brought it down to a level 50" front, 50" rear. Ill snag some pics of level while it lasts! how long will I need to cruise with the weight before they settle out and i know what size block to buy?

Man I tell ya...I'd definately change blocks before I'd consider getting rid of those springs. How do they ride?? Deaver springs has an awesome reputation in many arenas.

how did you tighten the 4 rear shackle bolts and the 2 front ones? those bolts need to be tightend at ride hight otherwise the bushing can be under extra tension holding the truck up.

They ride great, IMO! even *** end up, I think they are smoother than stock with the aal. With all that weight back there its even smoother.

They cost me $725 Shipped. I got them from bajaconcepts, but Id HIGHLY recommend NOT going there. it toook me 4 months to get them bc they didnt want to pay deaver some money they owed them. I only found that out by calling deaver.....

Hum...I might have to check into that. As far as i remember I snugged them and tightened everything when it was on the ground..

Looks like **** , but you just need to either have a off road shop trim a few inches off your blocks or get new blocks..

Thing that gets me is - didn't thumper run this exact same setup and it was perfectly level? Seems to me the custom made you a 6" leaf pack.... Might wanna call dever and see if they remember making it.

How do they ride?
