Should I sell my truck

Ive been thinking about it over the last couple of weeks but Im not sure if I wanna do it. Should I trade my f150 in or not. I wanna get something with a little more power. Like the new tundra or f250. Or even maybe a D-MAX. Yh I know its a chevy but its a D-MAX. Id kinda like my next truck to be a diesel but then that would rule out the tundra which could be a good thing cause I know nothing about toyotas. Only know fords. And I dont really wanna get too much into the mods mainly becuase Im afraid that if I go ahead with my plans for my f150, as soon as its done, Ill wanna trade it for something else.

What should I do?

keep my f150
F250
f350
tundra
D-max

which one?

Powerstroke
Tundra might have a lil more power than the F150. But cant compare to a diesel!

If the bed or tailgate doesn't fall off, he might be fine with a Tundra.

Yh thats true. Driving about 45 miles to work and back would probably kill the new truck which would make me sad. Plus rolling about 80 mph Im getting anywhere from 22-25 mpg which I dont think is that bad. I really dont wanna trade in my truck but I just have a feeling that Ill lift my truck and put it on 37's and then Ill for some reason be able to get a f250 for like 23k or something. Im thinking Im just gonna end up staying with my truck. I mean my plans were 37'' boggers on a 8'' rize. Was gonna turbo but I would rather SC. But thinking Im just gonna keep it.

You're kidding right? A duramax over another 150? An Aveo over a Tundra?

Whatever you're smoking, please send some to Tejas... it must be good.

To the OP. If you're considering selling your truck, you might as well. No amount of modding is going to cure the itch for you to sell it. Get the 250 and see how you feel about it. If you can afford one, I doubt the poor mileage is going to hurt you much.

Not to mention that the 8" lift and 37s is sure to set you back quite a bit, and ruin your mileage... 37s on a DD doesn't sound very fun to me.

Create a spreatsheet and a formula to see where you break even mile per mile on gasonline vs diesel. Last time I figured it out, a diesel would have to get 22 mpg on the hwy just to break even on a tank. Now there is no telling with a 80 cent difference per gallon of diesel.

If you really want a diesel get it. If your not sure, check into all of the costs. Oh and dont forget the 4-6k premium that you pay for a diesel engine.

We use the chevys at work. I spooled up the turbo the other day with a little power brake. When Let go of the brake, it spun first gear, shifted and spun second. I had to shut it down because the end of the parking lot was coming fast.
