Low fuel light?

Low fuel light?
I have an 07 FX4 luxury and have taken the gas guage pretty close to last line and the low fuel light still does not come on. Do these truck have a low fuel light?

Yes your Lariat beeps when you have 50 miles to E, what about the FX4 you traded in. Did that one have low fuel light or something?

your owners maual will tell for sure, but its generally something like 5-7gallons left in tank before the light comes on

My 05 XLT beeps and a " low fuel" message appears in odometer. It has to get pretty low first...almost to the last line.

mine goes on when i have 5 gallons left. it dings really loud then says low fuel where the mileage is supposed to be. it gets right on the last line before it does

I HATE that damn ding. It makes me want to pull my hair out. 3.50 for V-Power

It's like you have to carry a stack of hundreds around at all times.



Back on topic- Mine comes on just b4 it hits the last line.

Mine does the same thing and it does have to be very low. I found out it quits in about 40 miles after the low fuel message comes on if you are pulling a 25' travel trailer and hauling a large motorcycle.
