Now I can see how they have issues with the Toyota Tail-Gate falling off!

I saw one this morning laying on the other side of the speed bump down the street.

More Tundras were sold in California in 2007 than F150s. Tundra is meeting all of its sales estimates handily. Quality truck or not, Toyota has marketed this truck well because its SELLING like crazy.

But I see very very few of them on the road here in Indiana and they assemble them in this state. But regardless it doesn't hurt to have a little competition as long as Ford, GM, and Dodge pay attention to them this time or well eventually be seeing a lot more Tundras on the roads. All in all Toyota has not done to bad of a job with their first attempt and should only get better from this point forward. Also doesn't hurt they have advertised the hell out of the truck. I still won't buy a Tundra unless it is 10 times better than aa Ford or GM

That video is been out for awhile. I noticed my bed shakes and flexes quite a bit when I'm driving down the highway. The Tundra is a nice truck. I test drove one and almost bought one but I was upside down on my F150 loan. It has a ton of power, better ride and more comfortable then my truck. I really like my F150 but the Toyota is a great truck too. A lot of people on here will bash anything thats not a Ford. I've owned a Chevy, Dodge and a Ford and they were all good trucks. Before you knock the Tundra, go for a test drive. You might change your mind.

Flame on.

Wow, I guess Ford's experience shows in that video. IMO if "ride quality" out-weighs usability, go ahead and buy that Tundra. Better yet, buy a CAR.

Texans drive real trucks. Easily more Fords than anything down here.

exactly...I just cannot see a Tundra holding up to the abuse I've put my Fords and Chevies through in the past. the tailgate issue alone ruled that truck out as a real "work" truck. the bed bounce is just icing on the cake.

please don't take this as a racist comment, because it ain't...but what do you expect in California? There are alot of 1st gen Asian people there...and they and their children feel more comfortable buying something Asian made or with an Asian name on it. I see it all the time here in Hawaii.

Ford/Chevy/Dodge are rare out here. Everywhere you look it's a Toyota or Nissan.
