$750?? Damn man.....I know I shouldn't be surprised, but I am. I'm kinda scared to go over to the C&D section. No matter where I go on this site I end up spending a lot. But then again, I do learn a lot too.

It's worth it if you have the time and money. Except you end up being OCD about it. I don't let anybody touch my truck. I even yell at my girlfriend occasionally for putting her fingers on the paint instead of the door handle.

Bad, I know....

That's overboard man, wow. It's a truck!

I personally wash my own most of the time, once in a while I let the drive through place do it.

It's a truck, and it gets used like a truck quite often. But for the day-to-day I don't like staring at a big scratched up pile of dirty and metal.

The only time someone other than me washed my truck was at the dealership and I didn't know about it.

I usually wash it ever 1 or 2 weeks and it takes a couple hours, there's so much dust here, it's crazy. I also try and wax about once a month, too.

Head over to the Care & Detailing forums, they'll put you on the right track and help empty your wallet!

The only way that I will wash my truck is by hand. I usually do all the waxing and detailing of it as well, but if I can't there is a great detailing shop about 15 miles away that buffs, polishes and waxes the truck for $75 and they do a great job. Usually I wash the truck in the driveway every weekend, also about the only time that I drive the truck, between 8:00&10:00 am because during that time the big maple tree along side the garage shades the front 1/2 of the driveway. So it gives me enough time to wash the truck, wheels, and tires then hand dry everything before the sun can get onto it and make water spots.

I think the "hand-washers" by far outnumber the "car wash" people.

This is interesting. I thought there would be more people running their truck through a car wash with the "It's a Truck" attitude.

Those people don't tend to go and post on F150 forums because to them, it is just a truck.

The funny thing is that every truck that I have owned I have always hand washed them, but the cars almost always get ran through the car wash since its just a car

i dont like seeing all the rock chips, but its the way of the road. an there is only 1 mini ding, dont know how it got there , but its there. I hate parking lots, oh and cant forget the rebuilt right rear fender from a very soon to be x-wife. going through a divorce, but not because of the crushed bedside. Some women and utility trailers dont mix.
