Great, now I'm totally confused.
I have a '07 Screw 4X4 and I bought a 2.5" A.S. kit but have been waiting to install it until the spring when I get some new wheels. My truck is more of a daily driver and I don't haul anyting. So what you guys are saying is that a 2" kit would level my truck better that a 2.5"? Is there really that much of a difference?
Somebody must have a 2.5" on an '07 somewhere, speak up!!

the only ride height difference is when going from a 4x2 to a 4x4...the difference in leaf spring #'s is due to change in ride quality and I believe something about squeaking, the new leafs are re-arched to maintain same height
the 4x2 front coil-overs are 1-1/2" shorter
the 4x2 rear axle does NOT have the 1-5/8" block
a 4x2 with 3" leveling kit will sit pretty close to level. a 4x4 with 2.5" kit will sit 99% level...every now and then they sit nose high though

I dont have anything, and now I am really wanting something...
Does the Add a Leaf make the rear end stiffer? Probably a dumb question, but I am not sure how the rear end works, suspension wise. Does it have no affect on the shocks?

I have posted before about the AS spacers and the different amounts of lift that Kevin experiences at Autospring. Basically, there can be as much as 1 inch difference between identical model trucks with the same size spacer.

btw, eBay is the only source for the AS kit, but you can also buy it from them directly if you're near Idaho
