New Mods (Wheels, Tint, Emblems) *PICS*

Just got my new wheels in yeasterday and got them mounted today after putting a couple coats of wax on them last night. They are XD Spy's 17X8. I also got my eyebrow lowered on my windsheild and a bottom strip of tint too. Then I also got bored and painted the emblems, which could look better.

The guys that mounted the tires and wheels said that these wheels balanced out nearly perfect.

Truck looks great...but what is the deal with the tint on the windshield? Is that an Alabama thing because I have never seen anything like that. I have seen tint across the top, but not coming down that low. I have seen the entire windshield tinted. I have never seen a windshield tinted like that.

Jesus dude, is it dark enough for you yet!?! I'd be scared to drive your truck at night!

I don't know if I like the bottom strip of tint, might just be a little too much, or maybe too dark, not sure.

I saw a guy pn another forum who did that and loved it so off I went to the tint shop. Its not hard to see out at all, which is good. The tint at my angle of view is right over the edge of the hood.

As one of my friends said, "He's got an eyebrow AND a mustache!"

I just got a tint ticket in my state. If the patrolman that pulled me over seen your windshield he would of went apesh**!! I would love to borrow your truck for a day and see how many violations I could get. Hope you have better luck than I.

Cops really don't care around here as long as you don't have limo tint. So far I've had my windsheild like that for three weeks and no problems yet. The sides have been like that for 9 months and no problems even when I pull up next to a cop.

I was kind of thinking the same thing. I mean it's one thing to try and get away with 20% on the fronts instead of 35% like I do, but the eyebrow and mustache scream "Pull me and check my tint!"

I hope you don't have any tint laws where you live LovetheTide!

I like the wheels and the emblems! But I don't like the tint on the windshield at all, it looks really stupid IMO. But if you like it that is what counts!
