Question-Did you instal your leveling kit or did you pay?

I installed my 2.5" autosprings myself using jackstands and a $200 craftsman toolset. very easy and anyone with simple wrenchin' abilities can do it.
I think my kit cost $89 + $65 (alignment). probably the best money I've ever spent on my truck

Installed mine myself with no help. It took about 3 hours. The hardest part for me was getting the upper ball joint back into spendle when the spacer was in. I had to use a large rachet strap hooked to the lower control arm and the upper control arm to get the ball joint pressed tight enough into the spendle so that it did not spin when I tried to tighten it. Also be careful not to let the spendle hang by the brake lines and make sure you get everything tightened down real good when putting it all back together.
I used the Autospring 2" kit

I'm more concerned with wearing out part due to the larger wheels and tires. Like I've said before sometimes you got a pay to play.

No way would I pay to have it installed. First side took me an hour 2nd side was done in 30 minutes. Very easy job IMO
I've done lots of suspension lowering on S-10s, and for me, the leveling kit (2" AS) was 1/10th the difficulty of dropping the front of a dime (spindles and springs). Of course, some great people on this here forum made it so easy by telling me what tools and methods to use complete with pics.
The thing is, I have never done any kind of work like that on a vehicle before. Only thing I have done is put on exhausts and intakes. Im still not sure what to do but I know one thing, Im not paying $400.
yeah i was a little hesitant at first.. i had not done any work to a new car... mostly my old rx7s. its really straight forward.. i found the hardest part was getting it back together... look at the link.. it really helps
My 3'' truxxx level was my 1st "difficult" mod on my own, only help I got was from my dad to get the spindle loose, I swear all he did was tap 3 sides of the spindle with a hammer and it popped off! of course on the other side I wound up hitting it harder
but air tools are a must! it gets the job done so much easier!! GO FOR IT!

I don't think so. You can do it!
