strip removal

How does this rubber strip come out. Would there be enough space under there to run a power wire to aux. lights through there?

Any other suggestions on how to cleanly get a wire from the top of the cab into engine bay or cab?

I think it should work. are you running them to the cab or like a light bar towards the back of the cab? if it was a light bar towards the back of the cab you might just run it under the truck to the void between the cab/bed and then just run it up to the top of the cab tucking it under the weather strip of the rear window...just an idea.

Towards the front, where the seam is, there is a little 'tounge' on the front edge of the peice that runs down the cab, its slides into the peice that runs up and down the windshield. Other than that, it is held on with glue or tape (I cant remember which one now...)

How big of wire? I cant remember if there was a gap under there or not even....

you can go through the back cab vents on the back wall of the cab.

or through the 3rd brake light if its a 14 or smaller gauge wire

Sorry, I should have been more clear. My bad.

The wire is going to 4 lights on a light bar mounted above the front doors.

In that case I would just tuck it into that weather strip that runs up the windsheild. I bet you could just push it to the side somehow and tuck a wire in the bottom and be all good.
