i recently replaced my factory handles with the mark lt handles....i could not get the rod for the keyhole back in the right position to make it unlock now my door kinds of sticks when i try to open it. i have tried a hundred times to get it right ..........

anyone have any ideas how i can get it right ?????????????

 

You know what it probably is, I couldn't figure it out for the life of me. I was reassembling the door and the door lock nipple rod that sticks out the top of the door trim so you can manually unlock the door gets stuck under the plastic trim. Take a look at it and see if it's getting kinda stuck. Boy that problem was annoying me, you need to just reinsert the door trim but be careful while pulling it over and on top of the door lock rod.

 

you can lengtehn the rod by screwing it up or down. Sometimes the rod gets bend a little and doesnt fit exactly right, thats what happened to me a t least. Give it a try, I had no idea installing these habdles would be such a pain
