Anyone with a 4x2 running 305/45/22

Im just looking for anyone thats running this tire that may have some side pics that they could post. Even those of you that have just the 2" shackle drop. I tow my camper regularly in the summer and really dont want to drop it unless it just looks too bad. Im already having to swap wheels and tires which is no big deal but if I drop it I'll loose that 2" of travel. Thanks

might depend on the rim offset, I run a 275/45-22x9.5 +25mm offset with a 2/4 drop and only rub up front over big azz bumps. the rear can ride on bump stops and not rub. with just a shackle drop you should be fine.

fyi thats a big tire, i have 305/40/22 which is31.6" tall and the 45 series is 32.8" tall both 12" wide

i have a 2.5/5 drop i rub the front on big bumps and i just barely rubbed the back on really big bumps(i have very small bump stops)

i would suggest the 40's....

Yeah the 305/45/22 is 33" tall which is about 3 inches taller than the stock tire but I want to fill as much of that humungus wheelwell as I can. I'll be running the 06 Harley wheels so thats a 9 inch wheel. Drew is that truck at the bottom of your post sitting at stock hieght? If it is that looks good but my truck is an xlt and I'm not sure how much of a visual difference it makes with the lariat having the fender flares.

I am running a 305/35/24 with a 2/5.5 drop and no rubbing at all. You should be fine with just a shackle drop.

and this is the same drop but with the stock 20's with 275/55/20

More reasons to go with a 285/45 instead of a 305/45

I too am on a 305/35/24 with no rubbing, so I as well think you should be just fine.

The other thing is that I'm kind of limited to tire size because I get a 60% discount on Yokohama tires. The only lines of tires that run up to 20"-26" are the Avid Suv, the Avid st,the geolander hts and the parada spec-x and the sizes are limited.Check this and tell me what you think.http://www.yokohamatire.com/searchresults.asp?id=lt

60%

No need to check the link...... The parada spec comes in a 285/45/22 and is a great tire...(forgot to add that part)

Yea thats what I'm saying The spec-x is the only one in that size and to me it"s just kind of fugly. Thats why I thought maybe I'd just put a bit taller tire on it. I'm just not sure what.

That's not what I ment.
The Parada is an awsome tire. I have loved yokos since 1985 when I got a free set of A008's........
I also like Hankooks which is what I had in the 305/45/22
