Unhappy sunk my fx4 f'd it up

I have a 05 fx4 screw and was wheeling all weekend well I went thru a hole and dint realize how deep it was until it was to late i got in and couldnt get out started sinking the drivers side front got about 6 inches from the hood and i had water in the cab up to my ankles. I finally got it out after my buddys in a dodge and chevy pulled me out which cleray sucked. When I got out i opened the doors and water came pooring out anyways I drove back to my camp and cleaned out the intake system and filter then began cleaning although being 100miles from home with no vacum it wasnt easy. NOW I have a check engine light on and my tranny is all messed up I think?Everyone thinks my computer needs to be reflashed but I dont know it feels like the o/d isnt working? When you give hard gas the truck revs to 3 or 4K rpms but doesnt go anywhere and doesnt shift untill you let off the gas. any thoughts I'm going to bring into the dealer tuesday I hope they dont void the warranty lol I've been cleaning for like 10hrs P.s. i'll post pics asap

Thats why you don't drive 30k vehicles through holes when you don't know how deep they are

Thats the best reason to have a beater truck around! Anything happens to it and it can sit until I feel like working on it, and then I just drive the FX4 for a work truck for awhile.

With all the electronics on these trucks I would put good money on them.

I would start by unplugging every wire connection that got wet and blow dry them out. I would unplug the battery and clear any codes out of the computor (need a tuner for that) Check all fluids for water, and i would change all of them to be safe.

It could be, but I think that it is more likely to be some wiring connections that got wet and muddy.

i dont think your computer needs a reflash. you probebly have to much mud or crap stuck in the connections by your tranny. get under it with some q-tips, wd40, and a hell of alot of time and clean EVERY connection you can find. then take it to jiffy lube or something and have them change the tranny fluid and oil. including the torque converter fluid. they can probebly check the code as well. after that take it to ford and tell them its slipping up. this way they cant void your warrenty.
