Aftermarket tail lights....Lets see them!

Hey everyone, I tried a search and looked in plenty of galleries but I can't seem to find too much on aftermarket tail lights. I got a black FX4 screw and want a blacked out look so lets see what you got. I have to replace mine because they are hideous clear ones that look like they should be on some rice rocket.

if you just want the blacked out look, you could just buy those smoked spray paint and spray them. for 6-10 bucks a can..its the easiest and cheapest mod to do.
i just did a smoked look but if you want it darker..just apply more layers.(depends on how dark you want them.

heres my before and after.

IPWC Bermuda Black. I've had them for a while now without any problems. Some moisture but no leaking.

I have those lights on the truck right now, mine are clear though. I hate mine so I picked up a set on ebay. I will post pics of them on the truck when I get them.

I thought I read somewhere in my trade magazines that Ford had a patent holding on aftermaket tailights for the 04 and up trucks. The article was a year or so old so they may have opened it up to companies like Keystone who make aftermarket crash parts. I honestly have not seen any custom taillights. Some of the ones for other trucks look pretty good, if they are made to look nostalgic, example 58 Cameo tails for 88-98 Chevmys

i honestly rarely give bad comments but i have to say those lights look horrible. i would def like the stock over them. just my $.02...all that matters is what you think tho...

I switched from the stock taillights to the HD taillights and that was enough for me.
