well got my tinted tails back from the bodyshop...

look great...a few spots however where i do see a few specs and one small orange peel affected spot...but other than that they look great....charged me a fortune tho...$50 to cc em...didn't know it was gonna be that steep but you know what still cheaper than aftermarket tails...ill post pics later...not going on the truck till spring tho

Not cheaper at all. Harley tails are pretty cheap. I bet yours look good though.

there were a couple how-to threads about tinted tails. you could've ordered the spray and done it yourself for under 10 bucks. only takes about 30 minutes too.

I'm with him on this one. Except for the thirty minutes part, it took me a few hours.

i heard clearing them yourself came out like crap...so i figured i would just let them clear em...oh well whats done is done...

I tinted mine and I haven't one speck of dust or flaw in them. It's all in the prep and where you spray them.

well they were perfect when i prepped and tinted them...they just must not have cared that much when they cleared them....o well you wont even notice when they're on the truck

That's the reason I do everything I can myself that needs to be done to my truck. No one else cares about my truck as much as I do.
