I got the Roush Off road exhaust kit for christmas, apparently i didnt read and it fits the scab with a 6.5 bed and the screws with 5.5 bed...

I have a scab with the 5.5 i believe and im supposed to get it installed on thursday.. will it fit or not?

 

I don't know for sure, but if you're having it installed at a shop I would imagine they can shorten whatever they may need to make it fit.

They've got piping they can weld on additional piping quick to extend it.... how do you think universal mufflers, etc fit?

If you're having it installed, I'm sure the shop can cut out whatever is needed to make it fit.

 

ok so length is the only issue, like the way its mounted isnt different on my truck then it is on the screw and the scab 6.5?

This might pose a problem as I believe there's a bend shortly behind the flange.

Check the existing setup on your truck to make sure.

Right behind the two cats there's a flange and clamp. Beyond that you have a bend. Depending on the length of the truck, the bend might be right after the clamp, which could pose a problem if you expect to just cut the pipe to fit it under there.

Mine's a SC with a 5.5' bed and I have about 1' of straight pipe before the bend.

The first clamp is at 2 seconds (right beyond the cats). The second clamp is at 8 seconds. The bend is at 8.5 seconds.

My Roush exhaust replaces the second clamp altogether. Check the Roush kit you purchased to see how long it is between the first bend and the front pipe. If you have to shorten it by 1' you may run into the bend as the muffler could be longer than the stock one.

It should fit, but just double-check to make sure.
