You know in the end if your getting a small truck like that its hardly worth getting a truck...your not getting much truck, and your paying alot when you think about it.

Kinda like buying a half ton, you can spend a bit more and get something that will actually carry some weight (ie superduty).

True. Alot bigger price jump then a 1/4ton to 1/2ton though. Diesel engine alone is almost a 7000 dollar option. You could get a gaser, but that V10 really sucks the fuel, and if your going to have a 5.4L your running the same power as a F150 so your not much further ahead. Though a fancy 1 ton would be nice Someday I'll have one. haha Each to their own I guess, I just don't see much point to getting a mini truck, you'd have more truck for alittle more money getting an XL or an STX F150, and better fuel economy and more goodies for the same price getting a car.

Yeah, I understand were your coming from. Alot of people really hate Toyota, I never realized they were that hated, I think its a not bad looking truck.

Spent 30k on the Escape... and rolled over 23k on the F150, plus accessories and such adding up to around 7k... 60k right there...

For all of the work that I've done to try to pay this debt off... it is a lot of work that I could have more money in my pockets.

Meaning no truck payment all these years...

That is a full size truck.

A Dodge Dakota is a small truck, and weighs less than most sedans. In fact, my Dakota weighs less than a Mustang GT.

If you're only getting 12 mpg it must be the way you drive!

Have fun in the rice burner!

My truck is like 2 seconds shy of the R/T in a 0-60 mph... but I'd take mine over a R/T only because it is a 5 speed mated to a v8 in a regular cab short box. Plus, I can strap a blower to it, and make it go faster than a R/T.
