HID Help needed ASAP

I have an 07 SCREW and I need help with the factory wires on the headlights of the truck. On the factory harness their are 3 wires. Green with blk strip, all blk, and orange (I think) on the drives side their is the same thing but the third wire is blue and white. I would like to know what wires from my HID kit gets connected to the factory harness. On my kit I only have two wires, One blk (GND) and one white (pwr) Right now the way I have them connected, I can turn on the lights but in the inside the brightlight icon illuminates blue as if the high beams are on but they are not. PLEASE HELP! Its getting dark

this is the way that I have it wired but I dont understand why my high beam indicator (on the inside dash) comes on if I turn on the fog lights. What can I do to fix it. First of all is this correct. Im starting to think that the light greens with blk on both sides should be lo-beam

Right Headlamp::
Hi=Light Green/Black
Lo=Dark Green/Orange
Ground=Black

Left Headlamp::
Hi=Light Green/Black
Lo=Dark Blue/White
Ground=Black

which HID kit are you installing? the blacks are for sure the grounds, but sometimes you might get the others backwards. maybe try swapping the others.

I just doubled checked and the wiring is correct. What happens is when I turn on the fog lights my high beam light on my dash comes on. This happens when the fog lights are on by thereself and when my hid's are on, so it has to do with the fog lights. What can I do to fix this

its not seeing the highbeams being connected.thats why your highbeam in the console is lit.
lemme guess...the HID kit you ordered is just for the lowbeams,right?
does your truck comes with 2 stock headlight bulbs?(one lowbeam and one high beam) or is it like the 9007(both high beam and low beam in just one bulb)eitherway..you need to connect your high beam to another bulb in order to get rid of the highbeam in your console.
some people used a relay or resistor to fool the wires for the high beam to think theres a bulb connected to it.dont know how to do that tho.

Originally I had one H13 bulb that was used for low and high beam. Just for you info I didnt replace the factory foglights.

Also now that I dont have high beams installed would it hurt my electrical system if I just left it the way it is. The way it is setup now is that whenever I turn on my foglights (whether it be by themselves or with the low beams) the bright light indicator on the cluster comes on. If I just leave it this way will it hurt? I mean I will like to fix it but if its a really big hassle forget it.

its not going to hurt anything. Since you dont even have high beams anymore, maybe it would be helpful to use the highbeam dash light as your indicator that your fogs are on

i cant remember where i read this info but something about the wiring.not sure if its the power wire or the negative wire of both the foglights and the high beam share a common connection somehwre under the dash thats why whenever you turn the foglights on(auto or manual)it doesnt see the loop connection on the high beam and thats the reason why the high beam icon is lit.
you just need to find that connection and move the neagtive wire(if it is the negative wire) to another source and if its the positive wire..i think thats where you use resistor or relay to fool the wiring that it has a bulb connected to it.
i had my low beams and my fogs converted to HID and what i did is a pggy backed by HID(positive and negative) to the original wiring harness so i can still have my high beams working too but i also have the aftermarket HALO lights so i had tthe 2 bulb set up to begin with.
hope this helps.

What is the fog light highbeam mod? Did this work for you. I dont have HIDs in the fog lights. I only have them in the headlights but when I turn on the foglights and go inside my truck, the high beam indicator on the cluster is lit. I want to know how to resolve this issue.
