Hella Tailight questions...

for those with the Hella tails, or thinkin about them...

I was searchin around about the Hella LED tails for our trucks and found lots, but not really what I was looking for. I noticed that the reverse light "clear" part is really small, for those with these tailights, how is the output, and could you get a pic if you dont mind, of the output at night. I plan on adding some aux. backup lights, but no time soon. Second how is this "Celis" stuff for the running lights, I saw some pics of it but it doesnt look very bright, or seem to be a very big portion of the light for that matter. Maybe Im OCD but why cant the LED's function as the running lights as well, that way there could be more LEDs and maybe the reverse on the bottom...

Thanks for any input..

Pmason718 and RUSS04-- In my searches I acctually ran across both your galleries. How do you guys like this "Celis Light output" stuff, is there anyway to describe it? It doesnt look like much of a running light from the pics...

Have had them on my truck for over a year now and love them. Celis running lights are brighter than stock and much brighter LED brake lights. As far as the reverse lights, they are bright enough to get the job done but don't seem as bright as stock tails. A very nice upgrade in my opinion.

thanks for the info everyone, i was curious about the output in reverse, and this celis crap. I might have to pull the plug and order some, idk.

the hellas are d.o.t. so there should be no problems with the po po. the running light output is about the same as the celius output on the 2000-2003 bmw 5 series, and the new bmw 6 series. as for the back up lights???? i dont know, i have 5% tint....
