I talked to the guys at 4wp and they said an alignment wouldnt be neccesary, but i will have it realigned friday since for some reason i swear since i got stuck mudding it messed it up somehow.

Why would an alignment be necessary after adding a shim kit to the rear?

I dunno and that was their argument, but after mudding, i swear it pulls left, which happens to be what side was completely submurged. so friday i get the 20k checkup and they can align it too!!

That could mess your alignment up, but adding just a shim kit, basically a small block, won't affect your alignment.

I just contacted a person who has some NEW 5" Fabtech Blocks. Im not sure if he still has them. I'll let you know when I hear from him. If he's still got them I think he's wanting 70 +s/h.

Here's the Deal.....

Im looking for some 2" Blocks (factory) to lift the rear of my truck. I put the 2" leveling kit on mine and now the rear sits a little low. (After I installed my tool box) If this guy still has the 5" Blocks, maybe we can go in half, and You give me the 2" after you install the new blocks? Figured that would be a sweet deal since we only live about 5-10 min from each other.

Lemme Know!

Truck looks great!!

Before taking it to get it aligned...check the tire that was submerged and see if there is any mud or debris still in the wheel. If so, the extra mass could make it pull.

Just a matter of jacking up the suspension, installing new blocks, installing the ubolts, ect... and your done. Your kit should come with step by step and probably will have pic's to guide you along. It's pretty simple.

The only problem with me gettin the 5inch block now, Im not gonna have any more work done till this spring when i regear it and do a few other things. If he still has them then, then id be interested, but as of right now, Im gonna have to wait.
