F-150 SNOW thread.....
Thanks for these beautiful pics guys... makes me appreciate California just that much more. People around hear start to bitch like no other when temps drop to around 35-40. Little do they know...
First big storm of the year is hitting us now.
Here is a pic this morning after about 6 hours of snow. Right now it has been going for about 16 hours and they say we could be in for 12 hours more. They predict 18 inches when this one is done. Forecast says snow showers the next few days. I need another snowmobile so I can look forward to it a bit more. :-)

It's all right MercedesTech. They bitch up here when the temperature goes above 85. And when it hit's the 90's you'd think everyone was going to die. On a funny note, thank goodness we have gas heating. In the summer when it goes above 90, everybody cranks their Air Conditioners up and the electrical system isn't designed for the draw and there's power outages everywhere. Had three or four this past summer.

I wonder what they would do if they were over here in triple digit heat! Toasty
I guess that just goes to show: there are city slicking yuppies no matter what the climate. As for power outtages... all of California is just getting over the "Rolling Black outs" where they would just go in order, shutting off each power grid for a set amount of time. Apparently, the higher ups of this great state, in all their mighty wisdom, some how FORGOT to build enough Power Plants to supply the whole state (key word being whole) Made for some interesting time
Yup, I'm in Parma, but I don't drive around often....but I also don't seem many Yellows either. However, I've only had the truck a few weeks now too.
Triple digits don't bother the State of Texas. We just cranked up the A/C and the Nuc plants kept putting out power. Works great. Of course, we did cry whenever the temps dropped below freezing.

Like this morning. I am dawdling because the truck is warming up and defrosting the glass this morning. Not much, about an eighth of an inch of ice, but it was enough that I wass glad I had the remote locks to get into the truck instead of having to try to figure out how to get through into the lock with cold hands.
Started on Sunday afternoon and last till Monday evening, I swept my truck off 3 times with similar amounts of snow on it. We have as much snow now, as we did all of last winter. It feels like Northern Ontario again, we had a green Christmas last year and it didnt feel right at all.

It's coming down hard right now and it's supposed to keep it up all weekend. I'll post some new pic's on Monday after I go up to some of my job sites on the ski mountain, I'll see if I can get stuck
