x2. That happens almost every time I go through the drive-thru. People dont expect to have to look up to give me my food. Some of them have to stick their heads out the window to see me.

This isnt a compliment but when I got pulled over about a month ago the cop said to step out of the truck because he could not see me fully and thought I might have a weapon on me. kinda funny

That may be somewhat exaggerated, but not much. The difference is, there are not too many modded F150s near me. You see a lot with nerfs, vent visors, and bug shield, but that is about it. I am one of about 5 leveled F150 owners in my area, and I know 3 of the other 4 guys from either forums, or the 4x4 club. There is one that is modded nicer than mine close by, with a 6" lift, gears, 35" BFG MTs, but his is pretty beat up already...

Mine gets attention from the ladies because it is big, not so big as to be unusable, but big enough to be impressive.

The only negative feedback I get is the off road lights. Lots of folks tell me I should have bought black ones. I already had these, and when the chrome flakes off, I will probably strip them completely bare, and paint them gloss black... Can't say as I am all that crazy about them either other than the function...

People dont seem to notice my truck at all. Even when its clean and the rims are shined up, nothing. The first compliment was from a guy walking past my truck who came out of the woods. I was unloading a durango from the trailer. He looked harder at the keys in the ignition on the durango than he did at my truck.

I dont know what it takes to get noticed around here. I dont own the truck for showboating purposes, but it would be nice to get something occasionally. I know a lot of people dont like white and some dont like chrome. Its like if your not driving a lifted king ranch superduty, no one notices you.nHalf tons are like A$$ holes around here. And it seems like a lot of them are leveled or lifted.

Same in my 250. It was just a F'ing truck to haul stuff in. It wasnt leather or 4x4, chipped or lifted. Just clean and nice. No one seemd to notice it either. Hmm it was white too.

I get a compliment about once a week. Every time I'm driving down the road you can see people turning their heads.

i sometimes get compliments, but only if its clean and shiny. People are impressed with how good the paint looks since its a 2004 with 77k miles yet looks newer.

I did get the thumbs up the other day at a stoplight from a guy in a dodge after i BURNED his hemi at the previous light

I've gotten a few, but most of the time it's just people checking the truck out while driving. It helps that in my area it's mostly GM owners....but I've noticed alot of people jumping on the Dodge Ram bandwagon the past four or five years. I can go several days without seeing an 04+ F150 around here.
