Angry Deer got me.

Big-o buck decided he didn't care if the interstate was in is his way or not. Apparently he had just hopped the median wall. The first thing I saw was him scrambling to gain his footing on the concrete when I swerved right to miss him. I Couldn't get past him in time. Completely ruined my Friday.

He didn't die right away. Some good ole boy stopped right behind me, slit his throat, and dragged him off to the shoulder. We set each other up with phone numbers so after he gets the deer processed, he'll pass me some meat.

Third one I've hit with three different vehicles. At least I'll be able to eat this one.

He sure was a bute.

Everything squared up with the insurance & body shop (dealership) to have it all taken care of. (No comments on the dirty truck, please. We're in a watering ban.)

Darn the luck. At least you get to keep some of the meat.

Hey look at it this way the body shop

will wash it when they fix it and you don't have to wash it.I was going to say you need to wash your truck before i read about your watering ban. That sucks though at least you get some food out of it.I have a guy i work with he hit a deer a few weeks back and his dad hit one last week all with the same car.

Later Mark.

Wow you just don't seem to have any luck do you, 3 vehicles, 3 deer. Good luck getting your truck back up and enjoy that deer.

Sorry about the deer, but glad you'll get it fixed pretty quick.

A friend of mine lives in Atlanta and just bought a new car on Friday...the dealer could not even wash the car before he took it home. They said that they would get in trouble. I'm glad I live in a place that has plenty of water, even during a drought!

oh deer

What sucks is that I'm usually driving my 15 year old Jeep Cherokee for work. It's parked because I don't want to shell out the 400 bones to get the rear drums replaced, or I would have been driving it. The wild thing about it, is that if I HAD been driving the Jeep, that scrape going over the front wheel well and over the badge probably would have put an antler through the windshield of the Cherokee. That, and WAY more likely to flip the Jeep on a hard swerve at 70+ mph. Maybe the Heep going out was a blessing... I sure hate my fiddy looking like that being called a "blessing" though.

The driver window scrapes going down and it doesn't go down all the way. Anyone know if it can be replaced with one with the matching number etched into it.?

Are you getting a ticket for nailing a deer?

Is the number that is etched into it the VIN number?

This is the second thread like this that I've read today.

I'd say, I'm going to be careful but how can you avoid a deer that has it out for you?

at least you get to keep the carcas. make sure to ditch the meat where the blood pooled.

I live in the almighty Hippy tree-hugging welfare capitol of the country State of Washington. if you hit a deer with your car, they take the carcas. so you have a broke car/truck and nothing to show for it

why do you need to replace the window? is it scratched? judging from the dent in your door, it's just tweaked and will work fine once the dent is pounded out

What is the price of a water bottle in Atlanta...How does your city handle the drought and what are the consequences.
