Sorry to here about your truck...that just sucks!

Hey, just saw your signature. I'm a fellow UMR grad. What's your major, what year? I'm a EE from '98. It's cool to see fellow grads out there from such a small school.

Not sure about the bottled water, I live in Nashville, TN. We have the TVA to thank for having water year round. All of the rivers around here have been dammed up for flood control and to produce hydroelectric power, so we always have water and cheap electricity.

Been there, done that. Number 2 was in a Taurus. It went for totaled.

Are you getting a ticket for nailing a deer?
No, no ticket. The cop was came to shoot it until he found out someone already slit 'em.

As for the window, the number is not the VIN, but all four windows are the same number.

Something with how the door panel is bent, it scrapes the glass on the way down and has worn grooves into the glass. And the door stops about 5 inches higher than it should when i roll it down.

Right on! I'm Civil '06. Are you going back for the 100th St. Pats? You have to buy Grotto tickets in advance... somewhere like $300. Not completely sorry I wont make it back for that one.

I have a buddy (from Bland, MO & fellow UMR alum) who dated a girl from Linn for 4 or 5 years.

So far, bottled waterin Atlanta is normally over-priced for everywhere else. Prob $1.25 for a 20 oz Dasani. Or $0.89 for

If you neighbors rat you out for watering the lawn or washing your rig, you get slapped with I think a $100 fine first offense, $500, second time, and up to $1000 & jail time if you keep on.

The governor "asked" everyone to take shorter showers...

That sucks but glad you weren't hurt or that your truck wasn't damaged more than it was.

No, I'm not going back for St. Pats. With two kids now, thought I better set a good example! $300 seems a little steep...wow!

Small world!

Really small world...I lived in St. Chuck for a couple years after I got out of Rolla! I work for a software consulting firm whose HQ is along the old brick Main St. The old downtown / riverfront area is really pretty neat, but I just wasn't much on the "big-city" life of St. Charles. Coming from a town of 1100, my wife and I missed the small-town life and had to move back.

I can see how St. Chuck's old-towne appeal could be short-lived. It is a real neat atmosphere, though. Was work hard to find in Linn for a EE, or are you able to work for the same company?

(... I don't & won't feel bad for a minute to miss that St. Pats 100. The $300 covers one night of all you can consume AND a sweatshirt... )

I was luckily able to continue working for the same company. I am a software consultant by trade, EE by degree...I enjoyed both areas and chose computer programming for a career. I'm actaully glad I did, because I can work in the big city while working at home in my small town. It's the best of both worlds!

I'm not going to miss St. Pats at all. I always skipped town anyway...wasn't much into the "extreme" drinking.
