My girlfriend loves the way my truck sounds and besides I'm not interested in the kind of girls who are impressed by spoiled lil Abercrombie doochebags that drive around in BMWs that their daddys bought for em. As far as I'm concerned you either like it or you don't, and if you don't then f*uck off and worry about your own sh*t.
Amen!!

GB 150 you are reading way to far into my post. Im simply saying i like loud head turning exhaust that grabs peoples attention. End of statement. If you think im an @ss for it, thats great. I dont care.

You say you have a truck with a dumped exhaust system. Obviously you must know what Im talking about at least on some level.

Relax. Have a beer. Its friday.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ exactly

Also saying all trucks with straights are one step above rice is like saying all people from Riverview Florida are old gay D-bags. Not only is it not true but it would make anyone from Riverview mad.

Well, I apologize to all here on the exhaust thing. If you all want to have it, go for it. Who am I too dictate what is cool or not. It is a perception that each individual has on something.

I have been married to a fine @$$ Puerto Rican girl for many many years. [hence, never lost a GF to anyone w/ a truck] Also, I have had trucks since the early 70's. I bought new the first Chevy LUV w/ factory 4 wd back in 1979. [ which by the way, won Motor Trends Truck of the year] Had a 76 Ramcharger that was 'loud' but had major engine work. I had put over $4000 in its engine, on a truck that cost new less than that. But many would pull up next to me and say how good it sounds or what I have under there.

Again, my apologies.

Hey man I understand what you mean about a built engine with a nice cam, headers, hi flow or no cats, and muffler of choice or straights. It sounds way better than a stock truck with straights on it no question, but have you ever heard one of these trucks with true duals and straights? They sound pretty dang good.

I'll take your old roush offroad if you're willing to sell. Captain, enjoy yourself and worry less about others. I don't know who was praising fatherford's exhaust, but it appears if he hits a speedbump the axle will crush his pipes.

Nah. Not enough suspension travel.

On my truck, I have about 3/4" of suspension travel in the rear before I bottom out on the bump stops.
