how much PTM stuff will look good?
Ive finally gotten everything ordered or together and am looking to start getting things painted. Ive got LT Handles coming, and some street scene flares. My question is how much PTM stuff is too much? Im thinking of painting the whole mirror and putting a chrome skull cap on, or just painting the skull cap. so. . should I
Paint the whole mirror w/ a chrome skull cap?
Paint the skull cap only
Paint the mirrors and leave them
also. .
should I paint the airdam? possibly the bed rails or will that be total overkill, my thinking is total over kill. I might look into a diff. air dam for the front, any suggestions?
thanks guys, this is the only decision I cant seem to make my mind up on. .

If it were me I would just paint the caps of the mirrors and leave the bedrails and the air dam alone. The bedrails would be total overkill and the air dam will look good for a little while, then it will start to chip and liik like crap. Just keep it shiny with some armor all and it'll look just fine in black.

ive seen the mirrors done either whole or just the cap, looks good either way, painting the whole thing looks more custom, just the cap looks fx2 stock.
if you want to paint the valance do it right and take it to a body shop, I perfer the Harley myself, but I've seen it look good:
don't do the bedcaps unless you are buying the SS smooth caps, and even then you would be better off getting a hard tonneau

Def do the whole mirrors and door handles if you havent already. If it was me I'd do something to stand out and pain my pillars between my windows too. I think with your red truck and if you got dark tint that would be sick! BTW if you want to get tinted when you are in Dallas let me know one of my good buddies is a tinter and will hook you up at a good price.

Too much paint and/or extra chrome can ruin a truck so easily.
