What are your thoughts ono flaresides?
i've been looking for a style side, but this fits the bill perfectly:

price is right, looks to be in good shape, has everything i want except i'm not a big fan of the flares.
could you flareside owners post your pics? esp. lifted? thanks

If you dont like them dont get one, like someone else said. I wouldnt even look at a flareside when I was shopping for a truck last time around, they are just ugly.
Everytime you look at the truck you will just say "Damn, I really wish I would got the styleside" and be mad at yourself for getting a flareside.

The only thing that I don't like about my truck being a flareside is that it is hard loading my Banshee (ATV) into the bed. Since I have my Banshee widened out both front and rear, up front it is 47.5" and in back it is 48.75 (if I remember right) and the tailgate opening is only 49.25 (again if I remeber right), so I only have 1/2" or 1/4" on each side to spare. It gets alittle hairy sometimes , but I have yet to hit either bedside.
Having a flareside is great for washing the truck, as you can use the steps on the bed to wash the rear window and cab. The steps also come in handy for getting stuff out of the bed.
I bought mine on a whim, if I had to do it over again and choose between a styleside and flareside, I think I would still get the flareside. Mostly because it is different than most trucks on the road.
