I placed and order for the FX2 grill and smaller emblem last night from Tasca Parts. Later I got an e-mail stating that Ford had increased the price by almost $100. List on it is $271 and Tasca's price is $208. Quite a jump. Needless to say I canceled the order. Guess I shouldn't have waited so long to order it.

 

That's the way it is with all OEM Grilles, they're all cheap when they come out. But as soon as they realize that people want them and are buying them left and right they raise the price. (Supply and Demand)

 

Still not as bad as the Harley grill jump.

 

Get a Roush. Cheaper.

theres was a guy on ebay selling the insert for pretty cheap, they were buy it now, but there bidding on a couple now.

You use your existing surround, just pop it off your current grille and put it on the roush.

 

I'll pass on that. Still too pricey for me. I'd just spend the extra $20 and get the FX2 for that much. Besides I had a honeycomb grill that I bought in the surround and had no luck getting in out of the surround. Not much for trying again.

I know I am going to hate myself for doing it, but I am probably going to reorder the damn thing. I can't find anything else that I like. Maybe I can make up some of the money selling my H bar grill. Anyone know what they are going for???
