Does anyone know if they have replacement upper control arm boots available?

 

I had a tear in my upper ball joint and I called around asking about a replacement boot. All I got as a answer was its a solid assembly. If the tear isnt in a fold try and use inner tube glue. I used it till I could replace it. And if your gonna take it to the dealer or a mechanic to get the assembly installed, buy the part from getfordparts.com and have them install it. I believe the assembly is $70 on the web but if you go to the dealer they charged me $120.

Are you talking about the upper ball joint boot? That's part of the ball joint assembly... Grab a new joint and stab it in...

 

If that's the case, then that'd be great. I'll check into that.
