John Deere Blitz black paint
John Deere Blitz black paint
The paint on my truck is lookin horrible. I've got scratches all up and down the sides from tree branches and who knows what the hell else.
I've seen alot of badass trucks down here in Tuscaloosa that look so nice and well taken care of, that I can barely stand to look at my F150 anymore. I've got to do somethin to get my truck lookin more presentable.
There's no way I could afford to have the whole thing repainted though, unless I went with some kind of flat black paint. Now I know some of yall are goin to think, "What a dumbass!" but I actually like the look. And for under $2-300 I could have myself a "brand new" truck again, and have something different from everybody else.

thats actually a cool idea. i dont think there would be another truck like yours in the world then if you do it captain. If theres another flat black 150 out there i gotta imagine its a ratrod. Go for it man.
Go for it!
BTW If you don't want to spend money on your truck you better get the F*ck out of Tuscaloosa.

It is good paint but not as good as it was a few years ago, they changed the nozzle on the rattle cans in all of the wrong ways. It used to have a blue thing you pushed down on that flexed, it looked like a "V" on its side. Now they have this big white button, the pattern seems like it set for much closer range and is easier to get runs. My dad buys this stuff by the case and all of our projects get a coat of it apoun completion. We mainly use the rattle cans have pretty good luck with them, that is what I painted the hitch and wheelie bars on my pulling tractor (not a Deere BTW) and the grille guard on my Ranger. We got a couple gallon cans and ran it thru a sprayer to paint our gooseneck trailer, so far 5 years later it still looks pretty good.
I'm in the same boat, I'm waiting for money I'm collecting from some rock chuckers to put towards a new paint job. I might go with an entirely new color, but black just looks so good. Really makes you appreciate someone who takes care of their truck.
