Talking a few little mods

i put in a couple a mods the other day.first was the trucool max tranny cooler 8 1/2x22 3/4x1 1/4 from blueovalsite.com. seems to help out a little. also put my autometer volt gauge in the dash in place of the 12 volt outlet.installed my scangauge2 and blend mount from mgmotorsports as well. neat little tool and all kinds of readings.as well as my new accel supercoils that will surely help out with the granatelli cop connector kit that was previously installed.should have plenty oif spark now for the future. i know the pics s**k but i will get a camera soon. all this seems to run well with the new exhaust previously put on as well-true dual.

Nicee, can you go a little more into detail about the mods. Like the cooler, I think my truck has a tranny cooler up there. Whats the advantage of the one you have? Is it bigger? And the COP and the connector, can you explain that a little more to me too?

this cooler is about 2 or 3 inches bigger than the factory one. i think the factory one is set up for 40000 btu's and this one is 45000 btu's. a lot of city driving and pulling some trailers would get the temps up a bit. wanted to give as much cooling as possible. as for the cop's. prolly didnt need them for the extra spark right now but i am going to need it possibly in the future. with the coil being right on the plug the factory ones will work with most any mods im sure. the connector kits that i put in from granatelli replace the spring from the coil to the plug with a stainless zero ohm cable. to me a better way to get the voltage to the plugs for spark. i paid 210.00 for the coils and 79.95 for the connector kit.

well i actually got to drive her around this evening for about 50 miles with no problems,. it is a lot cooler out tonight so she was running very well. i am thinking the cop's will keep working fine. should be getting plenty of spark in the cylinders. havent ever had any problems with accel in the past.
