Halo Headlights & HID?

First, I know I've been a firm advocate of making sure that a HID kit is properly focused so that you're not causing a safety issue -- I'll continue to be this way but...

I was wondernig if anyone had tossed a HID kit into the Halo Headlights that once floated around on ebay. I ask because I'd really like to see light 'throw' patterns and such and inquire if the glare is horrible (I suspect that it might be). While these Halo lights are pretty slick (IMO) and do feature a 'projector-like' apparatus within the headlight assembly, I'm still very worried that the light throw is going to be so severely scattered that it would be dangerous to use them....

All that said, anyone gotz' em'?

It would appear so... Oh well... Bummer.

I suppose I could drop my Harley heads back in the slot and do it. Do you have some pics, Thump? It seems like I've seen some but I can't find them...

Gracias...

Yeah... I didn't see that thread. I'm really not on here nearly as much as what I used to be...

Have a kid -- new priorities. Thanks for the link, though. I'm going to dredge around for some HID installed in Harley heads pictures -- if they're out there.

Thanks again, guys.

Question

Anyone do a hid projector retrofit on these halo style lights. Since it already has a projector style to it.

That may be one of the funnier things I've seen here at f150online.com.
