Halo Headlights & HID?

I put a HID kit in my halo's they are so bright I have to turn them off when a car comes.. So I just run the HID's oin my fogs that gets the job done

It's not really that they're so bright... it's that the optics for the Halo heads aren't 'right' for HIDs. *shrugs*

I wish that they were... I love the Halo look but want the performance of HID. *sighs*

Tough to tell much other than there's a lot of glare flying out of there. My hunch is that it's far too much glare to really roll down the road in a safe fashion.

Thanks for the pics... I think I'm going to get a kit and give it a whirl with my HD heads. I'm itching to get back into HID since loosing my Xenarcs to my upgrade into a 2005 from my 2001.

I got bad news on my lights I found fog in both of them I have them apart now, what a PITA but I'm gonna try to fix them soooo it sux

Yep. Despite sealing the living crud out of mine, I still have some fog in mine right now (after the 8" of rain that we've had over the past couple of days).

I'm dropping my HD heads back in there this weekend as I'm simply disgusted with dealing with the moisture problems.... I love the look, hate the poor quality.
