Sweet, I just got HIDs too.

Where'd you mount your ballasts? What K kit did you get? How much did you pay?

I don't think those headlights can be adjusted low enuff to keep those from blinding oncoming traffic, thats seriously the worst cutoff pattern (lack thereof) I've ever seen

I mounted the ballasts under the metal lip that runs down each side where the hood rests.

The HID kit was $150 from flashplus on ebay and the Headlight housing ran me $185 from racinghouse on ebay.

The Hids are 8000k

so far no leaks. It was rainy and moist today. But i think Ill seal them anyway. I have heard that alot. Where exactly do I need to seal them. Just around the middle where the two pieces connect. Or more than that

After seeing the HID's in those lights... I don't think I will do it... I might go to a Hella set up like Tuff's truck and then do HID's... the ring is cool and I also get alots of looks... but the Silver Stars lights are very bright and I have them pointed all the way down as far as I can go... but those HID's are ridiculous bright... I would brake check your *** so fast it wouldn't be funny... just my .02

Ya like that etrevino?

Why the hell would they make low beam projectors without an internal cutoff shield?? They are supposed to have a solid line of light cutoff half way up, so there is pretty much a half circle of light comming out. Those are not safe for oncomming traffic, there has to be some kind of cutoff for a LOW beam projector to work right. I have twin projector headlights on my Buell, and they are identical except the low beam has an internal shield to provide the cutoff REQUIRED for low beams. Not trying to sound like an a$$ but I'd trash those lights and get something else.
