Cool man. I must say its nice not to have to dread that anymore. I really believe now that the problem was blown out of proportion on here. I think with all short trips and using crappy gas then they may break. A little good maintenance goes a looong way!

I use just regular 87 octane only. I too used premium for a little while when I had the x-cal in but quit fooling with that thing a year ago. Oh and blue...I would ship you the plugs but think I'm gonna keep them as a tribute to a bullet dodged.

SInce I don't put that many miles on my truck (16 MOS. old now and 8500 miles on it) At what point should I be thinking about changing my plugs so that I don't run into this dreaded plug issue????

I would still do it at 30k miles at the latest. I put 18000 on mine the first 8 mos of ownership and then went back to a company car. I've only put 10k on it the last 2 years...all highway pleasure use. If you are keeping up on the maintenance and using good gas you should be fine. I just wanted to get the originals out early to see their condition and to get new ones in with the anti sieze on them. I probably will let these new ones go longer. Just my .02

I got a cool idea. I'll save up a 55 gallon drum of it and have Jamz bring it to you in his truck. (j/k Jamzy)

Well, in East texas, there are roads called "oil roads". They grade the dirt and then surface with a layer of crude oil. If jamz trys to haul it, I bet there will be a highway "resurfacing" between here and SA.
