MBRP install

Just wondering if any one has installed a MBRP sido on an 07 screw sb yet. It says to cut the extension pipe to 31 inches for a screw short bed or 37 inches for a super cab. This doesn't make sense to me. I understand a six inch difference in bed lenth, but shouldn't the cab size be longer with the screw? I guess I will just cut it long first and see how it lines up, then adjust accordingly. Anyway, my first impressions of the kit is that it is very high quality with polished pipes and nice double walled tips.

Put it together on the ground under the truck and line things up, that'll tell you.

most supercabs are a 6.5 foot bed while most screws are a 5.5..... i dont know if thats the reason or whatnot, but if the screw cabs are only 6 inches longer and the bed is a foot shorter than that could be why...... i agree with scottps and just put it together and see how it lines up...

Thanks guys. Thats what I did and the directions are correct at 31 inches. Just didnt want to cut it short lol. Anyway it went together easy, took a little while to line up but total time was only 2 1/2 hours. I love the sound so far. Fairly quiet until you get on it, then it really opens up. Its similar to the magnaflow I had on my 04 but a much different sound. I'll see what it sounds like after a couple months.

I'll get some pics up tomorrow. Just drove home from work for an hour and there was absolutely no drone. I'm really liking this sound. Its real deep starting out, then turns into almost a race car sound at higher rpm's. Don't really know how else to explain it other than that. I can tell you that I like much more than the Maggie on my 04. Although thats a great sound too.
