good service on warranty work...(a little TOO good!)

I took my 05 in for some warranty work yesterday. No appointment,I just wanted it in before the 36000 miles was up....I was at 35880.I had a leak in the windshield area that made alot of noise....and sometimes it wouldn't go into 4X4.I did some wheeling with it and never got the 4X4 to NOT work, but I figured I'd mention it.
On the fender emblems(the ones that flake)I had put on one like on the tailgate,a plain F-150.I got it back with NEW emblems,I liked my plain F-150 better, and they had fixed the leak in the windshield, but told me they couldn't replicate the non working 4X4.They went ahead and replaced the solenoid because they had heard they go bad every once in awhile.WOW,that was great. They could have waited a couple of weeks and charged me for it when the snow started flying!!Thanks Sioux Falls Ford.(just thought I'd share a good experience!)

Thanks for sharing! All too often we tend to only focus on the negatives when day in and day out the vast majority of people have positive experiences- and yet no one takes the time to share those!

Wish my local was that good. I have a good one but it's 1 1/2 hours away.

Well as of today I left C&C Ford... couldn't keep dealing with the aggravation. The other class 7 inspector/mechanic is also leaving for the same reason...

So... good dealerships always change... the only thing that gives a good dealership it's reputation is the mechanics...

Was that windshield issue making a whistling sound? Mine is now, I think it's from the windshield and it's getting very annoying! Just thought I would ask, thanks!

It's nice to see a "thumbs up" thread once in a blue moon. Most never post about their good experiences, only the negative.
