either you guys arnt as far off the ground as you think or i just suck at driving cause my front end it now f*ucked, I cant figure out whats up, do I put a new lower on? My donahoes have leaked 3 times from sideloading now this shock but at the same time I have had 2 alignment with no problems (like bent arm) and my dirtlogics never leaked so I just cant figure out whats going on.

Well I just got my napa brand HD lower ball joints, IDK when I am going to tear into my truck my donahoes wont be back tell like tuesday or wednesday. I just cant think I have a bent arm or bad bushings with how random the problems been. Tell me what you guys think.
1 Bilsteins and AS 2.5 no leak over 2 or 3 months and an alignment when put on
2 Donahoes drivers side leak 1 week after getting them, with alignment when put on
3 Lift put on with bilsteins no leak 2 months in with alignment when put on and new uppers and lowers
4 Dirtlogics put on no leak after 2 or 3 months
5 donahoes put on leak on drivers side again (think same shock on the same side)
6 Drivers side rebuilt again put on and aligned, 2 weeks later leaking again
7 Blew apart stock shock with spacer.

With all my alignments I can think I would have a bent arm and why didnt my fabtech leak?

The 6" spacer held up, right? Had you coilovers ever been disassembled?
I would never say I told you so, but that's almost text book. I'm about to sell another pair of 2.5 Dirt Logics, let me know if anyones interested I know a lot of you were.

Update

Well tore into it found the shock top nut stripped right off the shock shaft allowing everything to come apart. While taking everything apart and looking everything over trying to figure the blowing shock thing get a though that my LCA has to be slightly bent so I replace it 335$ I say F it thats all that can be wrong so while I have a new BJ on the drivers side I am going to fix the passanger one too by putting a stock one back in it so I stop leaking grease everywhere, another 45. I call donahoe about my shock they havnt gotten it yet I track it the last update was 9-19 in Vernon CA I call ups get no where they open a find package on it and that could take 7-10 business days and I cant file a lost item claim tell 8 business days from now so I am tired of being with out my truck and it is parked at work (bad area). Come to work today and we find some barbwire pulled down like someone trying to get into the yard I dont want my truck sitting there unwatched anymore buy a stock shock 75 and here I am now **** off and hating my truck bad

Also after talking to donahoe more about the missing shock and what could be wrong they think my drop bracket issue may be causing this because one side is maxed in while the other is normal( the side not leaking) with it maxed it the shock mount is like almost 2 inches in from where it would be if my bracket was right so that is side loading the shock wearing out the seals and the stock type dont leak because they have a lower bushing to take the side load. The DL not leaking still puzzles me but I am just so sick of my truck now. I want new UCAs bad but at the same time i am sick of my truck and dont want to put anymore money into it, but then I tell myself the added camber with new UCA could fix my problem but then I go back to being done with my truck. I think if that shock is lost I am going to use that money to just get another stock shock and be done with my truck, no need for upper arm with the bushing and just admit this truck cant take it. Ill save the new UCA money and the settlement money and start building my ranger (04 work truck) into a LT truck that can take it. Its a striped down work truck that will be great for the build.

The front diff does move, I have often wondered why. This is because of CV bind?

Here is a better idea....stop driving your truck like you're Robby Gordon. Lift kits were not designed to be jumped or abused like this. Stop wasting money fixing your lift kit and get a long travel kit.

Ya get one of those long travel kits I think they are "only" 5 grand for just the front suspension parts. Plus I have only seen long travel kits for
2wd... so us with 4wd (i.e. a real truck) will just have to beat on our suspension as is!

There are plenty of 4wd long travel kits on the market. Yes they are expensive but are also designed to stand up to the kind of abuse this guy is putting his truck through. This sport is not cheap.
