I've been on the Forums here for a while. I usually just read stuff and check out everyone elses trucks. I traded in my 04 F150 back in April for a new 07. I've been doing some little things since, thought I'd share with you all. Take a look. All comments are welcome...good or constructive !!!

-Tinted tails and 3rd brake light
-Painted emblems
-Limo all thw way around
-Pioneer Avic D3 in dash
-2 ten inch solo squares, kicker 1000 amp
-Air ride technologies kit with 2 viair 480's & 8 half inch parker valves
-24" American racing RT-S wrapped in Pirelli Scropions
-Edge Evolution (Which I think I want to sell for a custom chip instead)
-S&B intake
-Throttle body spacer
-Harley head lights
-Black billet grille

 

The only thing i dont agree with is the subs in the center console. Other than that a really great truck. How did you paint the emblems? Did you use niteshades?

 

x2 on the subs. arent those the soloX line?? thats like 4000 watts of pure bass, you like that right next to your face?? i really like the exterior look of your truck though.

edit: do you sleep in your truck too?? whats the pillow for?

 

those subs look like they hurt... and your camber looks like it hurts the tires...

 

He's on bags so he's appears to have it all the way down in the photo. Thats why it looks like he has negative camber.

 

never been a fan of bags... I guess I enjoy not having to worry about going over speed bumps... or over potholes.

 

Just a little too low and 24s are just a little too big for me. I like the black out look.

 

Im usually not a fan of dropped trucks but your looks fantastic! The black chrome really sets off the whole package as does the blacked out badges. Nice ride man. Oh and sorry but I have to agree on the sub position, just looks like it would be an annoyance there. Then again I have never in my life had a sub or any kind of upgraded sound system so what the hell do I know

 

The subs really aren't too loud. It was just a throw together box at the time. It sounds Good though. I'd like to make another one, one with cup holders and an arm rest.

And I don't drive it that low, so no uneven wear on the tires.

Tails and 3rd brake lights were done with clear that had some black paint added to the disered shade.

Emblems were painted to the paint code to match.

You mean to tell me that you're going to have cup holders in between 2 subs?!

Might want to invest in a carpet shampooer and cleaning wipes...

 

Sweet truck, man. I love the blacked out look, mostly because that is the same way I went with my FX4. I do have a little more chrome, and I reversed the color of the emblems on my truck (blacked out but with chrome lettering). Wheels and stance look great. Even though mine is a 4X4 leveled on 35's, I still like lowered trucks, too, as evidence by my '79 F250 and my old Toyota (sold). Anyway, keep up the good work, and watch out that those speakers don't eat your arm...

 

The blacked-out look I'm a big fan of, however, not a fan of the painted logos or the center console subs.

PS: I wanna see a vid of the new center console [sub enclosure], music pumping, with the cup holders holding hot cups of coffee.

i think to complete the darth vader look you need to lose he chrome bumpers. that would look badass IMO.

ditto on the subs though

 

man our trucks are like cousins or something- Looks good man-diggin the bags.



Ive got the painted emblems and tinted tails now as well-Looks like we both need the glossy pillars.
