New Truck!!!

But,..... its not what you think. i just traded in my piece of crap 05 screw lariat w tons of mods for a 07 GMC DURAMAX!!!!!. the truck is bad *** and will smoke the tires through 3rd gear. and yes, its even faster and better handleing than the f250s. no regrets in my purchase. good luck to everyone!!! this is a great site.

Good luck with the new purchase, but I think it's time for you to join a different site. I think it's called GenericallyMadeChevy.com

Funny how guys with 6 or 7 posts will come on and tell you there jumping ship. They will thank you for "all the good information." So the only real info they want to share with the forum is that you traded in your truck, normally for another make knowing that most of the time your going to get harrased. If you didnt want to share before it's really not necassary now. Happy trails and thanks for all your contributions to the site

Enjoy your Duramax, they're decent trucks, ugly as all hell, but decent trucks.

What's with all the trolls here lately? GO to a GM forum and rant and rave about ur new truck....... we don't really care how much "better" it is here... that's why we are all driving 150's.

Works for me, maybe your computer was designed by a former GMC technician.

I can only see his posts by going into his profile myself, but when I click your link I get this:

"Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms."

I now know all his posts as well as I did all the GM techs at the dealer that I bought my last GM

The Duramax trucks are nice. Hopefully they've worked out all the issues they've been having with them. I just helped a friend of mine score a sweet deal on a 2007 GMC Sierra SLE Crew the other day, and I didn't know they were that nice. Regarding the "faster than Superduties" I'd say you're right if you're talking about the 2003-2007 6.0. The 2008 6.4L TT will spank the Duramax. But, whatever, it's a truck not a racecar.

You should really be careful about "smoking the tires through third gear" as the tires for those trucks are much more expensive than those on the F-150's, and the Allison transmission probably doesn't like it much either. But anyway, nice score. I would refrain from calling other's trucks "piece of crap" though, since there are some here that'll smoke that Duramax. *COUGH*FATHERFORD*COUGH* Sorry about that, bad cold dontcha know.
