7pin and 4pin trailer connection issues

Ok..... no matter which one I use 7pin or 4pin, the right brake and turn signal do not work. Checked on 3 different trailers.

Where do I need to look, Other than tracing the cable back to the harness. I would think that it would be upstream from the trailer harness since the problem is the same with both the 7 and 4 pin connector.

Running lights work..

Check your fuses. If my batteries on my trailer are dead, when I plug in the 7 pin the charge line causes a fuse to blow and I loose my trailer brake lights. I think fuses are in passenger kick panel.

Most likely a fuse. The right brake and right turn use the same fuse.
