I love my Train Horns. I think it is the best bang for bucks that I have spent on the Truck. I to mounted a seperate switch next to the cig Lighter and have mounted the 4 Trumpets and compressor on the Chasis rail on the Right hand side Ther are Pics in my Gallery

Normal side view you cant see the trumpets or tank

My horns are connected to my reg horn with a switch so if I was to ever get stoped for them I could flip the switch and honk the stock horn. If you need someone to move right their at that sec wheres the frist place your gonna go to honk?? steering wheel? or try to find a button on your dash so by that time you wont have a purpose to honk with the train horn.. My 2cent I have both horns and control them both from the stock steering wheel with a air horn on/off switch (mostly stays on)

Tank and compressor are mounted on pass. frame and horns are mounted driver side in front of the tank pointing at the drive shalf.. no pics.
Ebay ($250-500 depending on setup) Omega Train horns with the GMAX vavle with 200psi is more then enough unless you want the real locomotives then ur looking at like $1500 and have to deal with finding somewhere to mount them safley.

Finally another from St.Pete And yeah it is S&M...they are good there but overpriced on somethings as well.

Finally got to calling around today...found kits installed from $499, $799 and up to $999. May end up just buying from ebay then installing. All the places recommended the 4 black trumpets and a 5 gallon tank. Would I regret going smaller on the compressor?

So what is the best type of horn to get? Tank size, compressor, horns themselves etc? I was looking at the packages available on hornblasters and they really climb in price! Ebay seems to have some decent packages, but are they decent setups?
Also, when mounting these horns under the truck, doesn't road dirt/grime effect/ruin them?

At least it wasn't a 2000 psi nitrous bottle

Yeah, it's probably a good idea to plan something out for relocating that puppy.

ya i would hate to see something bad happen to you because you installed a sweet mod in a hazardous position. You never know when an accident could happen, it just does. Dont put it off, get that thing moved ASAP.

Since some of these links didn't quite cover what I was looking for, I asked about train horns on the other site and one of the mods chimed in with a very informative article.
